This stunning "Kakudo" wooden plate is a collaboration between Japanese designer Oji Masanori and Takahashi Kougei, a family-run wood workshop in Hokkaido, Japan. The name "kakudo" means "angle" in Japanese, and refers to the octagon-shaped forms of the dishes.

Made from walnut wood with a food safe oil coating, the kakudo plates and dishes are perfect for serving a variety of foods and also make beautiful display dishes. They will benefit from periodical rubbing with vegetable oil. Hand wash in warm soapy water. Do not leave to soak. Not suitable for dishwashers. Each item comes packaged in its own box, also designed by Masanori Oji.
